The people behind
the search.
24 Hour Search is a firm built on a record. Every engagement is led personally, by people who have done the work on both sides of the hire.
Havanna Velazquez and Kristin Taylor, 24 Hour Search’s founder, worked together before the firm existed. What stood out then was not a résumé but how Havanna thought: sharp, self-aware, and unusually good at reading people and saying plainly what she saw. When Kristin built 24 Hour Search, Havanna was the recruiter she wanted on the desk. Havanna joined the firm in 2026.

Kristin Taylor
Experience on both sides of the hire.
Kristin Taylor is the Founder and Managing Member of 24 Hour Search, a New York-based executive search and talent advisory firm serving global clients in commercial real estate and professional services.
She partners with leadership teams to hire senior talent and build people strategies that support growth, operational scale, and long-term performance. Her work spans commercial real estate service providers, owner-operators, and adjacent sectors, with a focus on leadership, operations, and specialized functional roles.
Before launching 24 Hour Search, Kristin spent more than a decade in in-house human resources and talent roles within commercial real estate and human capital firms, including Cushman & Wakefield and Colliers. She is one of the few executive search principals in commercial real estate to hold senior HR credentials (SPHR), specialized diversity recruiting certification (CDR), and an Executive MBA. The combination lets her assess HR and operating leadership with the rigor of a practitioner and the strategic lens of an operator.
She has been recognized by Crain’s New York Business as a Notable HR Leader and by GlobeSt as a Women of Influence honoree. Based in the Hudson Valley, Kristin is a lifelong creative with a background in theater.
Havanna Velazquez
Reaching people who are not looking.
Havanna Velazquez is a Recruiting Partner at 24 Hour Search, working searches across the firm’s core verticals in commercial real estate, professional services, and growth-oriented companies. She runs a full desk, from sourcing and screening through slate building, client management, and origination.
Havanna built her recruiting career in some of the most demanding corners of the field. She led a state-level desk for high-volume, commission-only roles, work that depends entirely on persuading skeptical, passive candidates rather than waiting for applications. Earlier, in skilled-trades recruiting, she taught herself the business from the ground up. That background, results built without a playbook or a handed-down process, is the foundation she brings to executive search: the discipline of reaching people who are not looking, and the resourcefulness to figure out a market rather than wait for one.
